I am an IT Project Management and Business Process Improvement enthusiast with an academic background in Digital Business Technology, a multidisciplinary field that combines technology, business, and organizational strategy. During my university years, I was exposed to various areas including basic coding, system analysis, project management fundamentals, and digital business concepts. This academic foundation allowed me to understand how technology is built, how systems operate, and how digital solutions support business objectives.
Alongside my formal education, I actively participated in organizational activities and committees on campus. Through these experiences, I was frequently involved in coordinating teams, managing schedules, aligning responsibilities, and ensuring that activities ran according to plan. While learning technical subjects and coding was valuable, these organizational experiences became a turning point in my career journey. I realized that I enjoyed leadership roles, people management, and coordinating collaborative efforts more than focusing solely on technical execution. Managing timelines, aligning team members, and ensuring objectives were achieved gave me a strong sense of purpose and fulfillment.
As I progressed through my studies, this self-awareness became clearer. I discovered that my strengths lay in project management and business process improvement areas where I could bridge communication between business needs and technical implementation. I became particularly interested in understanding real business problems, breaking them down into structured processes, and translating them into clear, actionable system requirements. Rather than building the system myself, I found greater value in ensuring that the right system was built, aligned with actual operational needs.
This interest led me to pursue my first internship as a Project Planning and Development Intern (IT-focused) at PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk. In this role, I was involved in project planning activities, requirement identification, cross-functional coordination, and monitoring project progress. I gained hands-on exposure to how large-scale organizations manage IT initiatives, balance timelines, mitigate risks, and collaborate across departments. This experience strengthened my understanding of how structured planning and effective communication play a critical role in successful project delivery.
Following this, I continued my professional journey as a Business Process Improvement intern at Sari Tirta Group (part of the Melawai Group). In this role, I worked more deeply with end-to-end business processes, identifying operational gaps and improvement opportunities. I was involved in preparing system and process documentation such as BRD, URD, SOPs, and workflow diagrams, and in supporting alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams. This experience sharpened my ability to analyze real business problems, simplify complex processes, and translate business needs into clear technical requirements that could be effectively implemented by development teams.
Through these experiences, I have come to understand my career direction clearly. I am driven by the challenge of solving business problems through structured processes, effective project coordination, and well-aligned system solutions. I see myself continuing to grow in the areas of IT project management and business process improvement, where I can combine my technical understanding, leadership skills, and business mindset to deliver meaningful impact.
